Carpet One by Henry's roots run deep in North Carolina. Our story began in 1976 when Henry Scott, a skilled flooring installer with a passion for his craft, opened Carpets By Henry in Greensboro. His dedication to quality and customer service made the store a local favorite.

In the 1990s, Henry and his wife Judy joined the Carpet One Floor & Home Cooperative, expanding their offerings and renaming the business Carpet One by Henry. This partnership gave them access to the buying power of a national brand while retaining their commitment to personalized, local service.

Thanks to the unwavering support of their community, the business thrived. In 2003, fueled by their success, Carpet One by Henry opened its second location in Winston-Salem. Today, the company remains a family-owned and operated business, with Henry's wife, brother, son, daughter, and granddaughter all playing an integral role.
