Luxury vinyl flooring is a great way to get the look of natural flooring options without the price tag. This means you can enjoy the look of hardwood and tile flooring while saving money and in some cases without the added maintenance. Luxury vinyl flooring is nothing like that of the vinyl you knew before. Digital and manufacturing advancements give LV flooring an ultra-realistic appearance and feel using high-definition natural hardwood and tile images. Our luxury vinyl flooring comes in two main types – luxury vinyl tile and plank.
Luxury Vinyl Tile, or LVT, is a great way to get the looks of your favorite tiles without the expense or extensive upkeep. LVT is also warmer and more comfortable underfoot than real tile. They are just as easy to clean and have innate water-resistant qualities. LVT even comes in waterproof options.
Luxury Vinyl Plank, or LVP, is a popular alternative to natural hardwood flooring with many added benefits. On top of using natural wood images for each plank, LV planks can be installed in places where hardwood cannot, due to moisture since they are water-resistant and come in waterproof options.
While all luxury vinyl flooring has varying degrees of water resistance, we also offer 100% waterproof flooring options to protect against some of the bigger spills that happen in our homes. Waterproof luxury vinyl utilizes a rigid core that prevents LV tiles and planks from expanding and contracting if exposed to moisture. They also keep subfloors safe from moisture and prevent the growth of mold and mildew.
Luxury vinyl flooring can be installed practically everywhere tile and hardwood flooring can be installed, including bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and more. LV flooring can even be installed in rooms that traditional hardwood shouldn’t be – bathrooms, kitchens, and mudrooms. LV flooring is installed using a click-lock method for most luxury vinyl installations. Also known as a floating floor, the vinyl is placed like a puzzle over the subfloor. We do not recommend this method of installation if you are looking to place cabinetry on top. This can cause difficulty in replacing or removing damaged planks. Our installation team will help you out every step of the way to ensure your floors are installed beautifully and properly.
